I have called two people to see if they were free on my wedding day and neither have called me back. Why is this??? One is Jennifer from FM....what am I doing wrong?

Jennifer from FM never replied to me either (and I e-mailed her twice) so I booked someone else. How many times did you try contacting her? If you only tried once, then I'd try again before contacting another vendor.

Thanks girls...I guess I am a little anxious and want to book someone already.
After seeing your pics Marcela I just fell in love with Jennifers work....I have called her twice and just emailed her...so hopefully I will get some kind of response.
If I don't hear back in a few days I will call the other two mentioned. I think they are both located in Suffolk County....I am in Bayside....so hopefully they will come to me.

I'm using Oksana and I was pretty impressed by her. I'm VERY picky about how people do my makeup. Oksana spent a lot of time on my eyes, layering colors and making sure that everything was blended perfectly. Her fees are very fair too IMO.
Jennifer got back to me after a few days. Of course she was unavailable for my day, but at least I found out. Leave her a message on her phone. Also she is a vendor on http://www.thebridalreview.com. You can private message her. After she called me back, she did get back to me through that since she didn't know I was the same person who had already talked to her on the phone.

Try Jaqueline Nicole, 800-833-2250. I haven't even had my trial yet but we've spoken on the phone and e-mailed a few times and if I don't get her personally, she responds very promptly. I am impressed with her attention and resposnse so far.

I recommend Jillian from Gorgeous Faces...she is really fantastic and will get right back to you..she is a vendor on here also..

I booked JN also. I loved my makeup at my trial - she did a fabulous job! Not only that, she is super nice, professional, and responds promptly to any questions I've had since then. I'm not bashing anyone, but I don't want a vendor I have to chase around, it would make me nervous!!

I highly recommend Jacqueline Nicole. I had my trial with her last Thursday night and I loved my makeup.
I wear very little makeup and decided against the airbrushing. She did an amazing job. I loved it, my mom loved it, and my FI loved it.
She is very professional and easy to talk too. I felt very comfortable with her and she is a true talent.
