Wedding day manicures....

I need help with wedding day nails... Should I use gel, nail polish, acrylic??? anyone????????

I always get a gel manicure. My nails are pretty strong and long on their own. If you have healthy nails I say go for the gel. Otherwise, get some silk wraps or acrylics. Regular nail polish never lasts for me and I wouldn't risk chipping my polish the day of to save a few bucks.

Gel! Make sure you go somewhere that is considerate about the health of your nails though! I'll be getting gel on my toes too for the honeymoon!

Yes i agree with above post! Gel for hands and feet. Gel is great doesnt chip lasts long and is very natural looking!

I 've had a gel once before. But it was poorly done. I need some recommendations.

I go to Fashion Nail and Spa in North Babylon. Huge place and really really nice people! They take such good care of your nails!!! I've been getting gel manicures from them for over a year and my nails are the strongest they've ever been! I use to go to another location and after the first few times of going my nails got ruined!

I recommend May. She does a great job, speak really good english (weird to say, but important to me because I want to make sure my message gets across!) and spends quality time on her clients.

Good Luck!!!

Crashing .... if you don't normally get acrylic done I wouldn't suggest doing that. I've been getting the gel manicures for almost a year and my nails are very strong and natural looking. I love the gel especially the french.

Good luck!

I got the gel French and it lasted through my honeymoon (2 weeks). I got regular polish on my toes and no chips (I did a light color) also though my honeymoon.

I always get a gel mani so will do the same for wedding. I also will do a gel pedi which I never have but I want it to last for the HM.

I went here as well for my wedding nails (right near my parents). I did gel to last through the honeymoon, which it did but I wouldn't get gel again. I didn't like the feel on my fingers. They also say it isn't good for your nails however I was more interested in making sure it lasted and figured one time can't hurt.

I always have acrylic pink and white french. I will get a fresh set for the wedding. I did gel manicures for a while but they kept breaking and it drove me crazy they were so short.

Im getting almost the same thing but reversed and with gold. I was actually trying to find a place that spoke English so I make sure I get what I wanted. Im going to be doing acrylic nails cause my nails are really short and it isnt super convenient with a 2 year old.
