i'm looking for a place to get my nails done for the wedding day in the mineola area
anyone have an rec's of places that are good?
Also, I dont want my nails to look fake but also don't want my french manicure to peel -- any suggetions on what type of 'nail-do' i should get :)

i got a forever french manicure for my wedding (which is in 10 days). it doesnt chip or peel.

I always go to Anney's Nails in Franklin Square. She is fabulous. I have been going there for years. Its on Dogwood Ave (about 10 min from Mineola --I work in Mineola, so I know its about that far away).

I live in Mineola and the best nail place that I've gone to is called 201 Nails on Hillside Ave....right across from the 3rd precinct!! The place is soooo clean and they are very friendly...the place is one of the nicer salons I've been to...HTH!

You can try V spa in Garden City. The place is great. They do massages, facials and the best pedicures. They also do a permanent french manicure..

I go to April Rain Salon with Laurie on the border of Mt Sinai and Miller Place on rte 25A. Laurie is wonderful and I have french manicures done all the time and it's $30!!

the tips are acrylic and the rest is your nail w/ some gel/powder. the initial cost is $35-45 depending where u go, and they last for 6 weeks if u go for a fill-in every 2 weeks, which cost around $20-25

perm french...pink and white...forever french all the same...
it looks alot better than when they paint it on!
i say the normal range is 40-55$....depends on where you go.
where do you live? my girl does it out of her house..shes real good!

I go to a place in Franklin Square on Hempstead Tpke named Ivy Nails....I love Sophia but Mickey is good too.....
