I am having my reception at Chateau la mer. I was wondering if anyone knew any nice places near by where we can take pics? we are driving from Bethpage to Lindenhurst. I was thinking of places along the way but i am stumped!

there is a beautiful park not so far from lindehurst. It is in Babylon. The name is on the tip of my tongue. It is on Merrick Road just east of 109......

Argyle lake? if thats what your thinking of , it is nice but my photographer mentioned the gees poop there is a lot, but you can always say on the cement! pictures have looked great from there

They do poop there alot but theres a nice bridge that would make for a perfect picture... :)

yeah tahts our #1 so far thats where we walk and bring lunch in the summer so we figured it would be cute to have pics there! the waterfalls are cute. and yes there is lots of bird poop!!! lol but i am sure i can hold my dress up anough and walk around it!

There is also another park in Amityville in between Sunrise Highway and Montauk Highway on Bayview Avenue. It's beautiful and has a gazebo and an archway and is well maintained. The name of it is Pearsall Park. You would have to get authorization from the Town of Babylon to be able to use it.

You could also go to Venetian Shores in Lindenhurst. It's a beach on the bay

So do I! Venetian Shores is Literally less than 5 minutes from CLM. You make a right onto Venetian Blvd. (Across from the Hess Station) off Montaul Hwy and take it all the way to the end, you're there!
