Wedding Day Timeline

I made a wedding day timeline last night and wa nt to make sure that I am allocating enough time for photos and sunlight ( sunset is 4:31pm on my day!). We're getting married at Crest Hollow at 7pm with the reception immediately following. Does this timeline leave enough time for make-up, pictures off-site and sunlight at Crest Hollow?

11AM- Make-up & Hair

1PM- Leave the Sheraton Plainview for the Planting Fields for Pictures

1:30-3PM-Bridal Party Pics at the Planting Fields

3:30-4:30- Family Pics at Crest Hollow

7pm- I Do's

7:30- Cocktail Hour

8:30-1AM Reception

1AM- Hotel Bar

Thanks, I'm definitely going to do that. I'm just wondering what to do in between 4:30 and 7! FH says he's sure we'll be occupied taking pics but it gets dark sooooooooo early!

You will definitely be occupied ! You'll still be able to take pics. If sunset is at 4:30 then you still have about 30-45 minutes which will provide for amazing pics. How about travel time in between pics to the rh ? you'll need to be there a little before 7. Have fun & enjoy your day !!

i would ask your hair stylist and make up artist about the time, i think you might need just a little bit more time. Are you the only one getting hair and make up done or is anyone else going to get their hair and make up done by the same people?

I also had 11am start originally and had to leave house at 2pm, DOC re-did my timeline and started me getting hair done at 10am, which worked out ALOT better.

Well see, thats the part I'm having trouble with. I'm gonna ask my girls if they want hair/make-up done but I feel like they might change their minds b4 the wedding if they decide they dont have the $. Also, my hair & Makeup person charges like $85 for each service which is a lot for the bridesmaids. Did you have someone else there besides the Pedala sisters to do your bridesmaids hair/make-up? Thanks for responding

well i had asked my girls from ahead of time. I know they had their own places that were less expensive so they said they would get it done on their own which they did, and they just all came to my house between 11am-noon. However, i did pay for my MOH and my mom. SO the pedala sisters did all 3 of us. This is why we started at 10am, even though we werent leaving my house until 2pm. While i got my hair done, mom got her make up done. Then i took a break and MOH got make up done while mom got her hair done, then i got make up last. So worked out great
