Have any of you made these before? The bride and groom strawberries?
I wanted to add them to our desert.
We are having wedding cake, a choice of desert (I think we are doing cookies n' cream sundaes), plus the Viennese trays of pastries, cookies, fruit at each table. I wanted to have a little tray put on each table, or maybe a bride and groom berry on each cake plate.
Do you think it's worth DIY? Or ask the catering hall if they do them? I just don't want to spend $2 a freakin berry!!
And how cute is that little cake in the picture?! I want those!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! They are sooo cute!! Now I want them haha..but I dont have money to be spending like that. But that would def. add a nice special touch to the wedding. Go for it if you can!

By the way- you can also have your wonderful bridesmaids help if they want...tetete (i do i do)

oooh!!! Lee I didn't know that! Do you think they are expensive to make??
How would I keep them fresh till the wedding if we did them a week in advance? FH mom thinks they will get soggy if we freeze them..?

Don't know how they would work a week in advance they will be gooy and not as fresh....To feeze themm....never tried it but I would say just do them the day before.....But thats alot of work, hmmm....I would ask the cater how much it will be

Those are really cute. I personally wouldn't take the time to make a ton of those Strawberries, It would take your forever. It's probably expensive to add, but it's worth asking your hall.

As a DIY I think it is A LOT of work. They are cute, but I would check the expense and make sure it is something you really want and will work into your budget. If so... GO FOR IT! Whatever makes you happy!
