Wedding Dreams!!!

Granted I still Have two Years to go, I had my first wedding dream last night... The FH and I have been looking at Reception Halls lately and I think that did it... I dreamed that the food that was there wasn't what I wanted, and nobody ate it because it was horrible, my BM came up to me after the ceremony and tod me she wanted her $200 back for the dress she was wearing (it was too expensive and she didn't like the color), and nobody danced because the DJ didn't show up!!! It was just the freakiest dream I ever had!!! At Least my FH showed up to marry me!!!!! I hjust hope these dreams don't happen for the next 2 years!!!

That's a good one!! They get even funnier the closer you get!! And no, they don't stop. I found I had them ALOT MORE in the beginning of my engagement than I do now... when I have them now, they are pretty bad and not as funny as I used think they were! My last one was that my photographer didn't show up...I was SOOOOO angry in the dream that I woke up and was STILL angry!

I had a couple... one at about the 9 month mark, that none of the vendors showed up and that I had forgotten to order a dress.

Then another at the 6 month mark where my MOH took my bouquet because she could not find her own and my mother walked down the isle... without me.

I think my subconscious mind has a very weird sense of humor.

It's kind of nice to see we are all not alone on this!
There were a few weeks that I had funky dreams every night. They kind of slowed down for a while then I had one again last night! I dreamed that as people were about to walk into the reception my dad took one look at the flowers and decided he did not like them the way they were. He made the florist stand in the middle of the tables rearranging the centerpieces . I was like 'Dad, what in the world are you doing?' His reply was that the flowers didn't go together!!
We are all going to pick our florist tonight (reason for the dream...) but it was still very vivid!

I just had a dream where our minister was a really weird man in this huge ugly hat and he rushed the ceremony so much that all our guests weren't even seated yet. We didn't even get to exchange our vows. This was when we were having a dilemma trying to get a minister, so I guess it made sense.

I seem to have one every week or so and they crack me up. Most recently I dreamt that we were at our cocktail hour and realized we'd never done a seating chart. When I was handed list of names I didn't recognize most names and when I looked at the room it had tables for 2, 4, 6, and like in a restaurant and I had no idea what to do.

I dreamt I was getting ready at the church, everyone was seated, and the bridesmaids were getting ready to walk down the aisle..only someone left my dress out in the lobby (?) of the church and I was still in my underwear and was calling someone to hand me my dress and no one could hear me!

I have them sometimes, but they aren't nearly as funny as the ones I used to have about Adam proposing (before we got engaged). In most of them, he would buy me a ring that was bigger than me, but would be angry at me for something and have someone else propose for him.

The real proposal was a lot better.

My friend Laurie had a REALLY good one. She had been looking at pictures of flowers with her MIL and one of them was called an anemone. SO in her dream that night, everywhere she went people were yelling 'Laurie, where have you been? It's Anemone o'clock! We have to get to the Shul!' And she kept asking people what time it was, and they'd keep saying 'Anemone O'Clock, you're late!' So when she finally saw a clock, it said 'Anemone.'

No Lie. Now THAT's what I'd call a rough dream.

I have dreams like the makeup girl doesn't show or my hairdresser doesn't show.

OK, so this is the dream that I posted about yesterday. We went for flowers last night and I walk into the room to meet with the florist, I turn to my left and there was my centerpiece!!
I thought they would be out of my price range so I waited a while before asking how much they were. When the florist told me the price I almost jumped up and hugged him! I knew right away that it was fate that brought me there. We are switching the base for another one that they had there. The funniest part about the whole thing is the base that we are switching to had the flower in it that in my dream, my dad didn't like.
How weird is that!!
When I had a few minutes alone with my FH, I told him that was the CP that was in my dream. I had explained it all to him yesterday morning. Too weird!
