Re: wedding dress
I got my dress from Wedding Salon of Manhasset. I had a great experience with them. Mary was so sweet and very helpful. My dress should be in any day now. Good luck in your search!

Re: wedding dress
My suggestions (and I have gone everywhere),
RK Bridal is great- but very do it yourself.
Kleinfelds you feel like a princess (ask for Keisha)- but the dresses start at $2500).
Bridal Suite of Manhattan- like Kleinfelds but with less designers
Bridal Reflections- Carle Place and Massapequa- Both are nice. Carle Place dresses are more expensive. I will post this part in case any other brides have the same question.
Lilettes: Nice place- good prices. The saleswoman I had was a little pushy and annoying, but they had nice dresses in good condition.
Macys Bridal Salon- the one in Manhasset is nice and they know what they are doing. The one in Manhattan is beautiful, brand new, but they are only open a few months so there are still learning about the dresses.
Hope this helps!!!

Re: wedding dress
Congrats on booking East Meadow, good luck with dresses. I bought mine in Brooklyn, not Kleinfeld's.

Re: wedding dress
I would second the wedding salon they had some beautiful dresses - I would also check out saks - they had most of the same dresses as wedding salon, bridal reflections but some better prices - they have a large selection and were VERY nice
I got my dress from Priscilla of boston and would HIGHLY recommend them -

Re: wedding dress
I've been to RK Bridal and was very happy with my dress but upset b/c they tried to get me to order a larger dress. The lady who helped me pick out my dress was very nice though. I guess they thought I would be doing major alterations at their place. But, I decided to buy the smaller size (which fit like a glove) and took my alterations elsewhere.
Lillettes- Very Nice and I did not find the saleswoman pushy. She was very patient. I felt terrible that I didn't buy from her.
Macy's- Just Rude
Bridal Reflection Massapequa- Very Nice
Bridal Reflection Carle Place- Snobby.
I've been to other salons and once I think of them...I will post.
RK Bridal matches prices. So it's worth giving it a try.
