Wedding dress???

How long did it take your dresses to come in? They told me 9-12 months, but I know it really never takes that long! I ordered mine in July, when do you think it will be in.

Depends on the designer, some take longer than others to come in. I was told mine takes about 6 months.

I know Eve of Milady and some of the higher end designers do take almost a year to come in!!

I would call the shop you bought it from...I thought they always told you about how long it would take

I think it depends on the shop/designer. I got engaged in Feb, ordered my dress April 2nd, my wedding is in two months and my dress still hasn't come in. They told me it would be in the last week of September

I was told I mine would come in February (ordered it in June) which would be about 8 months.

Who is your designer? As some of the girls already stated, if you have an Eve of Milady or other high end designer it will take up to 9-12 months. My BF who is also an LIweddinger ordered her Eve of Milady in November of 2004 and it came in July of this year, exactly 9 months.
if they told you 9-12 months it could come in as early as April.

I know at our salon, it comes in according to wedding date, usually two months before the wedding...therefore we many times bump up the wedding date, so that it comes like 3 months prior.

Mine took 3 1/2 months to come in (I was told it would take 4 months).

This is what I found. I ordered mine at Macys one year from my date, and they told me the dress would come in 2 months prior. When I made up a lie and told them the wedding had been moved up, they were able to get the dress in earlier. Also, I think some salons do not want a lot of wedding dresses laying around in their shop and taking up room, so they purposely wait to order them.

I ordered my Demetrios in April 2005 for my June 2006 wedding. It's scheduled to come in November 2005.

Make sure the shop places the order right away, you don't want them to wait to place the order in case your dress gets discontinued.
