I had my first appointment trying on wedding dresses this weekend. I went to Macy's Bridal Salon in Manhasset and fell in love with a lace Demetrios platinum 2014 collection. The dress wasn't even suppose to be in the store. I didn't say 'yes to the dress' because it was my first time and 2nd dress I tried on. I want to shop around a little more. Where do you ladies recommend to go? Thanks :)

Bridal Reflections Massapequa or Lillette's are both great! Good luck! :)

If you fell in love with lace, go to Pronovias in NYC- It is sooooooo nice there, and the dress prices are similar to the Macy's bridal salon prices. It's a Spanish lace salon, and the quality of the lace in the gowns there is just so much better than many of the other places I went to. The gowns are beautiful, and the experience you get that the salon is amazing. You sit at a touch screen computer while you wait for your consultant and add dresses into your 'virtual dressing room' and then they find them all for you to try on it is so cool! They also let you take pics, and allow you to browse the racks with them to pick what you like. If you go, request Alana or Sarah!

I had a great experience at David's in Massapequa. The lady that helped me (Teresa) was wonderful and super sweet.

Allure has some really nice lace wedding dresses under $2000 that have a lot of great details and are really pretty. I'd check those out too.
