Happy Tuesday!!! any of your FH has helped you pick a style of wedding dress?? Mine told me what style he likes and he doesn't like. Did any of you tried any dresses to show him?
I kind of played a game of what style is nice. I showed him 3 dresses I am considering and 3 dress I'm DEF not even trying on just to get a feel of what he thinks. LOL unfortunately now things have changed and I won't be choosing any of the dresses.. But you could do something like that.

Wedding Dress
My FI wanted to come with me dress shopping. Clearly he is delusional lol Maybe some very non-traditional brides do that which is just fine for them but certainly not for me. So I decided to do a google search for the type of wedding dresses I'm interested in getting. And as we scrolled through I told him to point out the ones he liked. Let me tell you... my FI is very picky, so he only picked a few dresses he liked. But those few dresses were the same exact dresses I picked that I had liked! I think it's fun to include your FI in the process, no matter how small it could be. GL finding your perfect dress!
And if you don't know what to look for, try starting with looking up the wedding dress styles that are most flattering to your specific body type. Because even if you see a picture of a dress you loooove... if your body doesn't agree with the dress style, it probably won't 'Wow' you like one that actually is made to accentuate certain features of your body. Just do lots of research on that and I think you might have a better idea of what to look for. That also helps to narrow your choices so you won't be overwhelmed by all the maaaany different kinds of dresses they'll bring to you when you go dress shopping. Hope that helped! Best of luck! :)

All FH said about my dress is that he doesn't want me spending a lot of money on it. HAHA! But in all seriousness he has no opinion on any of it and does not even want to see the 'reject' dresses.

FH and I were at Macys one day and the bridal salon was right next to the area we were looking in and to get an idea I was like can i look at dresses?...to my surprise he said yes because the man hates shopping.... he actually picked out a couple of ballgowns and told me he likes that style.....and a few weeks later I went to another salon and got a ballgown dress!

My FH is very opinionated, so I too felt important to know what shapes he liked. I watched say yes to the dress even before we were engaged and he would comment oh thats nice or that makes her look fat, etc. He can sit through 2 or 3 then he had his fill for a few days. I think its better that showing them stick models in a fashion book because thats not how it realistically fits a real woman.

I did show FH some pictures before dress shopping and he pretty much likes everything lol. The only thing he said is 'nothing too poofy' lol but I didn't want a ballgown anyway so no problems there. At this point though he known NOTHING about my dress and I want to keep it that way... 100% surprise :)

My FH and I have different taste! I went with a Sottero and Midgley beaded lace gown and honestly I love the dress so much Im pretty sure on our wedding day no matter what even if its not his taste hell love it either way. If you love a dress and you feel beautiful and you cant imagine yourself walking down the aisle to your FH in anything else then go for it! I guarantee you no matter what hes still going to think you are the most beautiful bride.

Lol just read all of these, before I said yes to my dress, there was a maggie sottero dress that I was in love with. And still think it's an amazing dress. However when FH saw it on a wedding show he said the skirt and train reminded him of toilet paper... Needless to say, my dress has no ruffles... But I still love it lol
