So it figures that I finally get all my bridesmaides together to help me pick out a dress and it figures that the one we all love the best is discontinued just this past October! Should I put the $100 down and have them look into it to see if the manufacturer has some in stock in my size? If they don't I could get the floor sample half price (floor sample needs to be cleaned a little a couple beads sown and needs to be made a corset back because it is a little to small). Or should I just search for another Dress? Its just that if I put the $100 down and don't end up getting this dress then I'm stuck with wedding center for getting my dress. Advice please! P.S. If I'm going to do this I have to do it today or I might miss out on this dress. It is by Robin Jillian so it is hard to get as it is even when it is not discontinued.

i would do a little more research on your own first before you start forking over money. Last resort is floor sample but you have to reallllllly look over the whole dress and see if its worth it.

I would look around a little bit more.
Call some other stores and see if they have it. Better yet, just call the designer directly yourself and see if they have a solution.

ITA with the others. It might be the perfect dress for you so far but that doesn't mean that there isn't another even more wonderful one for you out there!

I'm taking your advice. I haven't put anything down yet, but i did ask them to call the manufacturer to look up the dress. I wish there was someway i could get the model number of the dress. Then i would e-mail the designer myself and ask them that way i would know if i was wasting my time. Robin Jillian isn't sold online and only two stores in every state carry this designer.

Sorry to hear your dress is discontinued. I was in the same situation - my dress was discontinued. However, my designer was able to make the dress again since it had just been discontinued about a month when I ordered it. Maybe see if your designer is willing to re-make the dress. Good luck! I know it's heartbreaking.

That's a great idea because it was just discontinued October 28th!! Thank you for the added hope.
