wedding dress budget

Re: wedding dress budget
It's all up to you and what you want to spend. Nevermind what the bridal salon thinks. They can accommodate all price ranges.
Re: wedding dress budget
Dont worry about it...bridal stores have dresses that are over 2000 and under 1000...you set a budget and tell them and they can bring out dresses in your price range! I only wanted to spend 1000 and i got mine for less than that! You will be able to find plenty of dresses for 2000~
Re: wedding dress budget
i think that this is a very generous budget and you may very well find a dress that is much less than that and perfect for you...bridal stores can work with any price range- def. dont feel embarassed
Re: wedding dress budget
I think 2K is a great budget. There are a wide variety of dresses within that range.

Re: wedding dress budget
when i went looking i saw lots of dresses in that price range - as a matter of fact, almost every dress that liked and wanted to try on was between 1k and 3k....
Re: wedding dress budget
OMG that is a pretty good bugdet ... more than what I had ... dont tell them that is your budget, you should try to lowball it and see what they bring you, if you dont like anyhting then go a little higher
Re: wedding dress budget
I would tell you this. Find the dress first then worry about the buget. I was looking and fell in love with my dress and it was only 700! So, I would say find what you love first.
Re: wedding dress budget
Your buget is realistic. I only tried on dress that were under $2000. My dress was $1025 with all alterations included.
Re: wedding dress budget
That is definitely a realistic budget. Another thing you need to consider is if you are including alterations in your dress budget or making that its own category... a $2000 budget including alterations might mean that you can only spend like $1600 on a dress and save the rest for the alterations. Good luck!
