Unbelievably, I got the first dress I tried on at Bridal Reflections on 5th Ave. Ysa Makino ballgown, love it!!
They were having a trunk show, so even got a small discount! I had done a lot of research, so I knew exactly what I wanted. But the last thing I thought when I went in was that I would end up with the dress!
One of there designers was there and he completely got my vision.
They are doing lots of customization on my dress: turning the strapless into a halter neckline, two more feet on the train to 4 feet, changing all the silver threads and beads to gold, all gold net crinolines and.. I cant even remember what else!
The whole experience was glamourous and exciting. They were lots of fun to work with and were very patient when I was picking over every last detail.
Can't believe I have the dress!

It REALLY helped that I did lots of research, knew what kind of style would look good on me AND found a designer that does a lot of customization. Of course, it remains to be seen if my vision becomes reality when the dress arrives!
