After 9 months of my pooor poor dress sitting on the floor in the garment bag, i am getting her dry cleaned. What is the average cost to do this? I was quoted $200+

Re: WEDDING DRESS CLEANING PRESERVATION
I was quoted $140 by French Cleaners in east meadow. My dress is still sitting in a trunk too!

Re: WEDDING DRESS CLEANING PRESERVATION
Ladies...I can not be of much help as to recommending a place to get your gown preserved since I got mine done in N.J....but I just want to tell you all to shop around. I paid $125 to have mine done. It was cleaned and preserved in a box with a viewing window as well as the head piece and bolero. The box was then sealed.
The reason why I am telling you this is because my sister in law told me that when she got married three years ago places were quoting her like $300! I mentioned that to the dry cleaner who preserved my dress and he agreed that alot of places will rip you off and that is not necessary to spend that kind of money to do the same thing that was done to my dress.

Thanks for sharing! My sis paid around $400 to have her preserved back in 06! Totally ridiculous!
