ok...I was convinced that by dress color was ivory and silver...then I did some investigating and found out that it is Ivory/rum-pink/silver. I called the manufacturer and the rep said that the dress is ivory and the beading is rum-pink/silver color.....I don't want to have a pink wedding dress...has anyone ever seen these colors before? Do you think the manufacturer will send me a swatch???

they may if you pay for it...but how about calling some stores that carry that make and see if they have any samples..even if its not the same dress you can still get an idea of the color. i never seen it myself...but sometimes dresses w/ a splash of color actually look very pretty! Dont freak yet. But what i dont get..where you got it, they didnt tell you this prior to ordering??

They had me convinced that it was going to be only ivory/silver....They thought that there were 3 colors to the dress....white/silver, Ivory/silver and ivory/rum-pink.....from the way it was worded I would have thought the same thing.......it was written white/silver and ivory/rum-pink/silver......
That's OK..I am sure it will be fine...just didn't want a pink wedding dress!

I've never seen a pink wedding dress, it's probably just accent coloring. I'm partial because I have pink, green and blue emroidery in my dress but I think it's really pretty!

Actually, I really like dresses that have rum/pink accent beading. I think they are beautiful!!

my dress has pink accents and that is one of the reasons i love it so much, it is different.

my dress is ivory with 'blush' beading I almost didnt order it because of it...but I loved the dress....my sister convinced me it would be a nice touch and would be 'different' now i like it! ...plus now you can order the damn thing in all ivory (it wasnt available when I ordered)

i wouldn't worry... it sounds like the pink may just be an accent color, like beading or embroidery or something... which i think sounds really pretty... i would maybe call other dress shops to see if they have one of that color you can look at... or call the maker back again and see if you can order a swatch just to see...

I think it will be beautiful. I was shopping for flower girl dresses this weekend and there was a dress that was ivory/rum pink. I asked what the color was called because it looked like champagne to me (not pink at all). I thought it would be a perfect match with my gown (which is ivory/champagne). So...I'm sure it's not 'pink' like you are worried about...I'm sure it's very subtle. HTH!
