wedding dress crisis

wedding dress crisis

So I am having serious wedding dress anxiety. I purchased my dress about a month ago and now that I have dropped a size already I am starting to regret my purchase. I know the dress can be taken in but after having my son and being at my heaviest weight I have been in my life I feel like I settled for the dress that would cover what I was insecure about. I have no idea what to do now or if I am going nuts and just getting cold feet about my dress. Any advice?

I worry about this too, almost on a daily basis bc my dress is fitted and they ordered it slightly big. I was a super small size on top, and then my butt is HUGE, so they went up two sizes just to be safe. I have so much of my every day clothes fitting loosely now that I've dropped a few pants sizes and I think about the dress and how my proportions are so out of whack! ****BUT, hopefully this comforts you.... These people are professionals. This is what they do, its their life. I try to just have trust in that and faith that it'll all work out!

if you really are having second thoughts maybe go in and try it on again to reassure yourself of your purchase!

im sure you are freaking b/c you are stressing now that you're losing weight but maybe the dress will now look even better!

This! Almost everyone has second thoughts about their dress at some point.

Where did you buy your dress? If you really, seriously still think you're settling on your dress after you've tried it on again, talk to your bridal store. There are a couple of places that hold orders until the date gets closer -- if they haven't actually ordered it yet (or can still cancel it), they might give you store credit toward another dress. If not, you could still look for another dress and try reselling the first one.

My dress has already been ordered and paid for so it is mine to keep. Thanks for all of your support though! I decided to go and try it on one more time. Maybe that will help calm my nerves and feel better about the dress!
