So, this weekend was my first trip out dress shopping, and I BOUGHT THE FIRST DRESS I TRIED ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now i am freaking out b/c i can not believe I bought the dress.... it takes me so long to buy a dress for just a regular occasion, and on the biggest occasion of my life, it was a simple procedure!! Well not really simple, we were there for 2 hours, left went to another store for about an hour and then went back to the original store and put back on the dress....
I am so scared and nervous b/c how is it possible that i actually have a dress already!!!! (due to lurkers i really can not disclose the designer and all that information... u guys just have to wait!)
The thing i think that scares me the most is the fact that the dress is NOTHING like what i wanted....yet i could not stop looking at myself when i tried it on.....
Girls i am going nuts... my stomach is turning... i am so scared.... i still can not believe it was THE VERY 1ST DRESS I TRIED ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my dress is the opposite of what I wanted....if you kept going back to it there is a reason for it !!!!

I almost got the first dress I tried on, but ended up getting another one I tried on that same first day...I actually thought when I put on the first one, wow this is great but the first one really can't be it can it? hehe....if it felt right, it's right!

You are going to give yourself a heart attack!
Of course you are going to wonder if you are getting the 'right' dress because you are only going to have one chance.
Just like when you met your fiance, I think when the right dress comes along you just know it's the right one, even if it's completely different than what you thought you would end up with!
And I hope you know that I keep a good secret if you feel the need to disclose your dress to anyone!
Congrats on finding your dress. I am sure that you are going to look amazing!!

It was the 2nd dress i put on and i just KNEW!!!!
I didnt want to take it off!! but it was TOTALLY NOT what i had originally wanted.

i still do-but theres not much i can do about it now!

I was told by all stores that your dress is really not wha you picture it to be---I think it is fine that it was the frist one you tried on---I went to a few stores and kept trying them on over and over till I hated them--then the one i bought the first time I put it on, I was like I want this dress here is my card----don't worry I am sure it is beautiful and you will look great in it.

I bought the first dress i tried on and i only tried on a total of 3 dresses! I knew i wanted it and when i tried it on and my mom cried i knew it was it!

The dress I thought I would always have is not what I got. A lot of brides freak about their dress. I actually put 2 deposits down before I found the right one. If you love it thats all that matters.

I too bought the first dress I tried on. I tried on a lot of dresses but the 1st dress kept standing out to me. I just knew it was the one for me. Relax and go with your instincts. You must have really liked it if you went back to it. Don't second guess yourself!

Don't be scared!! You just got lucky on the first try! And its not like you didnt try on other dresses, so you dont have to second guess your choice. If you couldnt stop looking at yourself its a good sign!!!

Relax! I got the 3rd dress that I tried on...just got lucky.
Very often, what you think is the perfect dress is not always the case in reality. All of my bridesmaids thought that they would want one type of dress, but they ended up with something totally different.

thats sooo exciting!!! sometimes it ends up being something we didn't think we were going to like and turns out fabulous!!! I'm sure you look gorgeous, and its defiantly a good sign if you couldn't take your eyes off yourself, and even went back!!

If you normally have trouble making a decision but bought your wedding dress on your first day of looking, I think that in itself should tell you that you made the right decision. If you were at all hesitant you wouldn't have gotten it, it just (seems to) fit your personality type. So no worries!

Aww Ang!! I'm so excited you bought a dress!! I can't wait to see it! Don't freak.. seriously, you know I did the same exact thing and drove myself crazy about my dress for months!!! It's normal to second guess, don't stress about it!! Trust me, the dress you bought is the one! And you're going to be a beautiful bride on your wedding day!!! I love you!!! P.S.
