Wedding dress help (posted original in wrong forum)
I am going to go crazy with this dress shopping!
I found 'the dress' at Paradise Bridal last week. It is an Anjolique. The sample dress was my size and fit perfectly (it was only the wrong color)
Anyway, I've been hearing horrible things about Paradise bridal, so I'm trying to find other places that would carry it, and all that I can find is Bridal Suite in Bayshore, Bridal Suite in Huntington, and Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills.
Does anyone have any experince with any of these places? Positive or negative... I don't care... I need help! :)

Honestly, I am sure you will hear positive and negative experiences no matter what bridal shop you choose.
I had a very positive experience at Paradise, as did my 2 sisters and several friends I've since refered there.
Good luck!

I totally agree! Every single shop I was going to go to someone told me a horror story, it's gonna happen. I also ordered my dress from Paradise Bridal along with my headpiece and veil, earrings, the MOB dress, BM dresses and FG dress, so far they have been wonderful! Everything came in before it was supposed to, there were no errors and my first fitting went very well, second fitting is tomorrow. Just pick a shop you want to use and go with it. I've heard bad things about every one of the bridal salons you mentioned including Paradise and dozens of others so it's a crap shoot no matter what.

im using bridal elegance and LOVE them. they know their stuff, are very professional, and i got GREAT deals on both my dress and my BMs dresses. on a negative note, i was in a wedding that used the store in bay shore and we had one problem after another. finally had to have them refund all of our money and go elsewhere one month before the wedding and the bride had to get her dress off the rack! but then again, ive also heard good reviews of them too. no matter what, you will hear both... good luck where ever you choose!

I am a paradise bride and I have had no problems with them so far. The sales people are extremely nice and helpful. They even measured my sister in law who in lives in Boston and she didn't even order her dress yet they took them down so that she can call and order it over the phone.

I just ordered my dress from there 2 weeks ago and LOVE it. I loved the place, the woman who helped me (Patty) was so patient and wonderful. My mom was adamant about not buying the dress that day but she liked the store so much, she decided to put the deposit down. HTH!

Every place is going to have their good and bad... I personally refused to order from paradise... but there are TONS of girls that had great experiences! If you were comfy there go for it! I am a centereach bridal suite girl and have not had any problems but have read others have ... what can you do but take a chance! Also heard nice things about lilliettes (not sure where it is though) burtons, and also the bridal suite in I think its patchogue. I would call around and see if other stores have your dress in your color! and then you can always go to another bridal store or paradise to order it! Its always great to actually see the dress in the color your going to order it in! =)

I ordered my BM dresses from there and wish I hadn't but nothing I can do about it now. I should have shopped around a bit more and found someplace I had more confidence in.
I would look around to other places and see if you feel more comfortable elsewhere. Every place gets good and bad comments so it really depends on your personal experience.
