I hope I can get this picture to post. I found a dress I LOVE, BUT its from Davids Bridal and I have heard such bad things about them, has anyone seen any dresses that have this type of stysle( the lace?)

Just buy from David's and get it altered somewhere else.

It is hard to see in the pic (white on white). There are good and bad reviews about every place. The Commack Wedding Center also has some bad reviews on here. That is where I ordered my dress. It came in the right size, earlier than expected, and we got great service from Helene. Same for my sister;s wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. Alterations are another story though. My point is if that is THE dress try Davids Bridal. There will be good and bad reviews for every place.

I never understand why when a company is trying to sell a white wedding dress, they shoot the model in front of a white background. How dumb can you be??

I know, I wish the pic was better myself! LMAO....I found pics of a girl on google serach wearing it...heres a better look ( its like the Jessica Simpson dress) Anyone seen anything else like it besides this?
You guys are gonna kill me but here's a link ( because the pic is HUGE) for the details of it, please someone tell me you love it, Im so excited and I havent even tried the freaking thing on! LOL!
My dress is very similar to that and I got it in Kleinfelds. It was made for them, so I'm not sure who the designer is. Monkey Bride has something similar too.

I LOVE IT. Buy it. We got my FH nieces dresses from Davids. They came in like a month. They are getting altered somewhere else.

The dress is really beautiful. If you love it, get it a David's and get it altered somewhere elsew. However, don't make the decision until you've seen it, and until you've seen dresses from elsehwere. Why? In comparison to all of the other bridal shops I've been to, David's dresses are a lot less expensive, but you get what you pay for. Sometimes the material looks/feels cheap. Some people don't care. it's only one day and it's not worth spending thousands and thousands. But just make sure you feel the fabric and try it on. I don't know anyting about their alterations or customer service realy, but I do know the material tends to be a little on the cheap side.

It's very pretty! Definitely try all different styles and fabrics on at different stores, even if you're not crazy about it on the hanger. The dress that is 'the one' might be very different from what you love in a picture! There are tons of different dresses to browse through on theknot.com. If you want to see lace dresses in particular, you can click on advanced search and select lace as the 'key embellishment.'
