I just got married a month and a half ago. My wedding dress is now just sitting in its' garment bag. The bottom is filthy and my bustle broke so now there is a little rip in the bag. Not a big one but I am still wondering if it is still worth preserving it or not. I don't see what future use I will get out of it. Help...any advice on what I should do??? And if you do recommend preserving it...any suggestions on where on LI is a good place to get it conserved. Thanks!!!

I am getting mine cleaned and preserved through J. Schneer & Co. in the city...I live in VA and am having it mailed there (they have a contract with Mailboxes etc.) and deal with dresses from everywhere.
