between the dress, veil, alterations and any headpieces coming in about $2000-2500, i can't decide if i want a headband or a clip because i dont really like things digging into my head.

My gown was $1,500 but I was able to fit into the brand new 2011 sample, so I got it for $900.
The veil I ordered was $100.

dress vail and slip uvnder $700 have not done alterations yet the dress was like $399.00

Thank you girls for all your help!!! The reason I asked is because I went dress shopping for the first time last weekend and fell in love with a dress that was 7k which is definately above my budget. I gave the store my budget and they totally went over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Final price tag for 3 dresses (because I couldn't decide) = $750.

WOW 3 Dresses for $750??? thats awesome!!!!
My Budget is $1500!!! Hopefully I stick to it once I start looking for a dress.

My advice is to not try on anything over your budget. I know this is a long way from LI but i went to a small bridal shop in New Jersey that didn't carry any dresses over 1500 and their were SOO many pretty dresses in there. Let me know if you want me to find out the name of the place for you! Also, look at maggie sottero and allure dresses. They both have really pretty dresses for very reasonable prices!

Thank you, yes please fm me the name of the bridal store in Jersey. I didnt know the price of the dress when I tried it on I gave them my budget and figured they were not going to show me dresses that were over it.
