Wedding Dress Question

I was just wondering how long it takes for everyones wedding dresses to come in? I am getting married November 20 of next year and was planning on ordering my dress in March.This gives 8 full months but Im thinking back to all my friends that got married and they ordered it a year in advance! Am I slacking on this issue?

I would say ordering a year in advance would be safest, but my FSIL ordered her dress 8 months in advance. She hasn't gotten it yet but they said that ordering at 8 months was plenty of time.

I also hear that depending on the deisgner of the dress you may need more time, but that could just be something the bridal shops say to get you to order your dress quicker so they get the sale.

It depends on where you go...David's Bridal..I hear gets their dresses in around 3 months

Other places 6-9 months. If you can I would go with the year mark but do not stress to much if it's a little less time
