Wedding Dress Questions... PLEASE HELP!

I know I have to start going wedding dress shopping SOON (actually should have started trying on dresses already) but every time I think about it, I get nervous. I actually wanted to make an appointment with BR of Massapequa. Has anyone been there? How was your experience? Do you recommend that I meet with a certain attendant? Also if I do say yes to a dress, do I have to pay for it in full before they order it?

Any information will help. Thanks in Advance.

I ordered my dress from BR in Massapequa and had a fantastic experience. My attendant was Jody and she was great. I'm not exactly sure how much the deposit is because my mother paid for it, but it didn't need to be paid in full.

This! Loved Jody. ( I actually bumped into her at the supermarket this past weekend LOL) I paid half for the deposit. I had a GREAT experience @ BR.

ITA I love BR Massapequa. I will be there on Monday (for my second fitting)can't wait. I believe its a 60% deposit for them to order the dress however the can break that 60% down in payments if you need it. They are great and will work with you.

I did not get my dress there but I did look and my experience was like the other brides above, fantastic. They were so helpful and really listened to me and what I wanted.

mary lou was my attendant - she was so sweet and i needed to leave 60 % of my deposit - good luck your gunna have so much fun!

Yes I said half above but now I remember it was 60%.

i also had a great experience there! i worked with Darnell, she was great loved her! i told her what i wanted and she found THE dress for me!
not sure on deposit either, but it def wasn't in full.

I got my dress at BR in Massapequa...AWESOME PLACE! I had Darnell, very sweet lady and I loved how she grabbed different veils, headpieces and belts to accent the dresses I tried on...VERY ATTENTIVE!

SO MUCH FUN! FIVE STAR RATING IN MY BOOK!

I have also heard good things about Bayshore Bridal...never been there...but have heard good things!
