Wedding Dress: Second Thoughts????

Yesterday I went and finally ordered my dress, and now I keep thinking did I really love it. The minute I tried it on i loved it. I even tried on more dresses to make sure and I still loved it. I dont know why Im second guessing myself but I cant stop thinking about it. Did anyone else go through this? If so how did you stop? Thanks!!

Don't worry I felt the same way, I think it was because it was one of my very first major decisions I had to make and it made the wedding day so real in my mind. Prior it was just all talk, but when I placed the order for my dress I knew that I truely was going to be a Mrs... and it scared me. Now ten months later, I am so excited I just can't sleep thinking how far October seems, here up and get here......

Oh boy did I!

I dragged my mom to more places after I ordered my dress than I did before I ordered it. I was worried about the decision right up until the wedding, but I stuck with the dress and I am glad I did! Actually, I went from another shop back to the dress I ordered and tried it on again. That is when I made the decision to stick with that dress. I really did love it, but there are so many pretty dresses! It is a tough decision. Maybe you should try a few more dresses as I did. Many places will give you store credit if you change your mind. Whatever you decide, it must look beautiful on you if you ordered it! Try not to worry too much.

ME TOO!!!!

I had second thoughts too, but I think its normal. It is a very big decision. When my dress first came in, I rushed down to try it on, and it was HUGE, and I had no make-up on and my hair was not done. But when I went for my first fitting, I had make-up on, and I fell in love with it all over again. Now I cant wait to wear it. 3 weeks from today!!!

please remind me of this advice when i finally go get a dress, but.. remember what your teachers said in school about multiple choice tests...go with your first instinct - its usually right!

I know exactly how you feel; I ordered my dress a couple of months ago & I keep thinking did I do the right thing? I don't know why I'm worried about it; I loved it, my mom & FMIL loved it; even the other customers loved it. I guess it's just the natural way; you always second-guess yourself.
