HI everyone! I was wondering if you could help out.. where should I start wedding dress shopping? I really love some dresses I found on David's Bridal.com but don't want to go there bc I have heard controversial things.
I am looking to go for a reasonable place but where you are treated very well!!! I live in Farmingville, so looking for somewhere within a half hour or so

i have an appointment at davids bridal in a week. i know they have very mixed reviews but i want to check it out personally. i think you should make an appointment and see for yourself but go during a weekday!!

I think you should check out DB anyway. Why not, right? I purchased my dress at Paradise Bridal and I've heard mixed reviews for them but I had not one single problem! Ya never know! Good luck!

I went to Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point & it was nice there.... and the bridal suite in centereach has had good reviews as far as ive seen. Im going to try Davids Bridal even though they didnt get good reviews since i saw a few online i liked too!!!

def check out lilettes...my dress was $1020 which is a bit more than DB but still reasonable imo

i went to davids my dress had a problem when it came in but they corrected the issue.
and they had a glitch in the system and they told me one bm dress was not picked up but it was.
the women who helped me with my dress and my bm dress were both very helpful
i sugest you try them they have good pirces and nice dresses

I think the 'Wedding Center' is the one in commack. It's right off of Vanderbilt Parkway and Commack Road I believe. http://www.theweddingcenteronline.com/

I used DB and didn't have an issues...honestly I think that can go with any store you go to...it depends on who you work with IMO

Lillettes Bridal is a nice store with lots of dresses under 3,000. I didnt buy my dress there, but they were really nice and helpful. I think they were in Bablyon but just recently moved to Bellmore.

you should still try david's bridal....i mean, like other girls said, you're not gonna get someone who's fawning over you like in other bridal stores, they sorta leave you to your own devices to try on the dresses, after they get them for you......but for the price you pay there, can't complain!

I got my BM dress for my friends wedding at DB and had no problems but when i was there looking for a dress for myself the girl i had was useless. i cant remember her name tho. I have also looked at bridal suite in centereach and they are absolutely fantastic. Paradise bridal is hit or miss. they have lots of dresses but the attendants are kinda iffy. i had stephanie the first time i was there and i didnt like her at all. i found a dress at paradise that i will probably order from bridal suite just because their customer service is so much better. HTH!

I havent started shopping yet, but I just wanted to say dont write off DB because some girls had a bad experience... I think every bridal store has good and bad reviews... I would definately check them out.
