I will be trying on wedding dresses for the first time this weekend and I'm extremely nervous!
I'm going to a few salons that carry designer dresses but I'm a street size 10/12 and I'm worried I won't fit into any of the samples and be completely embarassed!
Has anyone experienced the same thing? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Don't be embarrassed at all, No dresses fit my boobs ever they just used those clamps.

All the bridal salons I went to had samples in a size 10-16. Most of the dresses i tried on were a 12-14.

Dont be embarrassed.... my dress from DB was a 12.... and they will only pull samples for you to try on that they know will fit you...

I am the same size as you!!!! I tried on a lot of dresses and some fit and others did not. Don't worry - the people at the bridal shops work with girls of all sizes. If you feel self conscious bring someone with you to help you in and out of dresses.

I'm a size 8-10 and most of the dresses I've tried on were big on me. I've only tried on one dress I had to squeeze into and one that actually fit.

I am a size 8/10...and most of the sample dresses needed to be clipped because they order them in larger sizes so they are able to fit as many girls as possible..You won't have any problem..don't worry
PS. If you are looking for a place to go I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 'PARADISE BRIDALS' in Patchogue...They are where I got my dress from and are so nice to work with..their selection was the largest I had seen by far
