I want to go look soon, but from magazines and looking online I haven't seen a dress I fell in love with...So maybe others have pics of a dress i would love, or i might have pics someone else would love and so on...So how about we post pics of wedding dresses we have saved and help eachother.

Re: Wedding dress thread.
Heres one thing that I ALWAYS think about though...
I look at my parents wedding pictures, and my mom is always quick to say 'Yeah, look at how awful that style was. I wish I didn't put the bridesmaids in that....' or 'I wish I didn't go with that trend. It looks silly now.'
When I'm thinking about what to wear, I always keep that in the back of my mind. Some things look 'timeless' some things you might regret later....

why the heck do they do that to us, as if we arent under enough pressure, they make the dresses run so small a kindergartner can barely fit in one

Yes, I agree. I love the look, but I won't do it for that reason (no offense to anyone else out there!) Actually though, FH has a beautiful renoir picture called 'the dance' and I believe it's a couple's first wedding dance. And her dress has pickups! And that was from the late 1800's! So hey, maybe pickups ARE timeless!

I know Fh has me thinking now, i did pick out other dresses too. He's more into these things than i am about what to wear and what not to wear lol, doesn't help that one of his best friends both he and his wife are in the fashion industry.

I completely agree, I think that's why I've 'calmed' down my style in some decisions I've made for my wedding.

OK so what does everyone think about not wearing white for their wedding day lol...ahhh its late i dont know why i am even thinking about this.
FH and I wil have been living together for 3 years when we get married, is it hypocriticial of me to wear white?
I saw a bride wear platnium... a light silver tint to her out of this world Eve of Milady gown. It looked better on that gown than white would have. I think we can wear lilac, pink, silver, ivory, or orange with green stripes if we wanted, we're the brides!

If anyone comes across a dress similar to the tomasina I posted I would love to see it! This dress may be a bit out of my price range.

Re: Wedding dress thread.
Here is MY dress.... deposit is down and I'm all measured!!! It's Paloma Blanca
I can't tell you how many times I have to remind my MOH that I want something timeless that won't look ridiculous in 20 years when we're looking at BM dresses. She has a much more trendy, contemporary style than I do.
