Wedding Dress VENT!!!

Why do bridal salons act like they are being so HONEST and then lie to you about who makes a dress. I loved this dress I saw in a store here in California, very inexpensive and was probably going to get it until they told me no pics! So I live here, family in NY so I tell them this and they say, don't worry, we will tell you the maker so you can look up a pic to send her. SO they tell me it is a Maggie Sottero and I'm like, really it doesn't look like anything I have seen by her. Of course I go home, look up Maggie dresses and it doesn't exist!!!!! What stupidity! I didn't care who made it, WHY LIE AND LOSE MY BUSINESS!

I had my share of horror stories with bridal reflections. Some places just dont care. Did they design the dress? Probably not, so what is the big deal?

I have my own issue with my gown and the salon where it was ordered. don't these places realized that negative word of mouth spreads around more than positve?!

Update for those who are interested- I called them back and told them I looked on the designers website and that it wasn't there. She said that was odd and that the dress came in with that designers shipment(Yea sure). But now she's on the spot to tell me who really made it- she told me to call her back today! Thought I would at least let her know I knew the truth...

Did she tell you the style name of the dress? All Maggie's have names, not numbers. But, my friend is getting a Maggie Sottero and it's not on the website either - it's just that it's an older season. But if you search in google for hers (Maggie Sottero Harmony) it comes up. Try that.
