Wedding Dresses

I am going for my dress next friday, but I am not sure where to start. Do I need to make appts.? Also where have some of you gone where your experiences have been really good? Thanks for all your help

Some of the bridal shops require that you make an appointment. I actually found the dress I liked in a magazine, went to the store, tried it on and that was it. I tried a few other shops just to be sure and went back to the first dress I tried on.

You definately need to make appointments, and the first thing you should do is decide how much you are going to spend. That will determine which stores you should go too, or stay away from.

Most importantly, HAVE FUN and bring a bra!

I suggest you make an appt.. the salons can get pretty busy and the consultants can get rather *****y if you come without one.. Plus, you want someone to spend time with you and give you their undividied attention..

Definetly make appointments. I went during the week and it was great. I was really the only one in the stores, and for my first time looking it was a great feeling. I went to a few places but ended up ordering my dress at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place...they are so wonderful.

I know at Bridal Reflections you have to make an appointment. From my experience they are really nice and accomodating there. I would also reccommend going on a weekday if you can. The weekends are always busy! Edited to say that there is one in Massapequa and one in Carle Place.
