How soon should I buy my wedding dress?

I already bought mine but I know I was WAY early...people say like a year in advance i think....

I love this dress! I already brought mine too, which seemed kind of early too, but it won't be here until Jan 09. So that gives me more time to pay the balance.

It's really up to you and how often you change your mind.. but, I think most people do a year in advance

12, maybe 14 months. Dresses take about 4-6 to come in, and a few more weeks to be altered.

i would say any time from a year on is the normal amount of time. im getting married in august and im planning on looking for my dress maybe in march/april.. but knowing me ill probably start looking sooner.. i really cant wait to start dress shopping!
