Wedding Dresses

Hey Everyone!! I was just wondering where you all looked for your wedding dress! I am looking for a place that is very nice as well as does great alterations. I haven't heard good things about David's bridal. any suggestions? THANKS!!

I got mine from Lillette's in Bellmore. They were wonderful to work with

im worried about alterations as well... but im buying my dress from bridal suite in bay shore and they have a pretty good reputation so whatever.

I went to Davids Bridal to get my dress.. but having someone that I know thru my FSIL for alterations.

I would recommend Bridal Suite of Bayshore....I ended up getting my dress there. They are very helpful and have a huge selection. Village Bridal in Babylon and Lilettes are good too but I heard great things about Bridal Suite in Bayshore and got a great vibe from them so definitely check them out.

I loved my experience at David's Bridal..but I'm having my MOH's godmother handle alterations

ETA: I had Laura - she was awesome, saved me 100s and lets you take as many pics as you want - I highly recommend!

I bought my dress at David's, and so did my girls. So far, I've had a great experience with them ... I'm not ready for fittings yet though. I may end up going to Fantasia Bridal though, I have a friend that just started working there, and I'd like to give her the business.

We are getting my dress from Monica's Bridal in Brooklyn - haven't had any issues as of yet though I haven't started my fittings yet either.
