Where is everyone going to look for Wedding Dresses? I went to Manhassett Bridal Salon today, but they had very few dresses in my price range.

Any places you highly recommend or strongly feel I should stay away from?

I surprisingly got mine at Davids Bridal!! I also went to fantastia in Rockypoint which the lady is extrmemly helpful, doesnt rush you and doesnt push the dresses on you.
I also hear RK bridal in NYC has a great selection. I wish i was able to check them out prior to finding my gown but Ill be doing there for BM dresses soon

I got my dres from Thea Tora Bridal Salon in Sayville. Kristen who owns the salon is AMAZING she is so sweet, easy to talk to and she was such a huge help. She really knows her stuff, the dress that she recommended would be a good fit I thought was just okay on the hanger and she pulled all the dresses that I wanted and when I didn't love any of those dresses, I put hers on and WOW I mean it was exactly what she had said. She didn't push me past my budget at ALL, she made sure I stayed in it and any dress that I liked on the hanger she made sure to tell me if it was out of my budget. She was so phenomenal, I can't say enough good things about her.

Sorry to go on such a rant there but she was awesome, really.

I got my dress from David's Bridal in Massapequa. Its a Vera Wang ball gown :)
They were amazing there i went early in the morning so the place was empty and i had 2 people waiting on me. One girl was named Beverly and the other was her manager I think( I forgot her name but she was awesome too).

I also went to look at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and I really didn't enjoy my experience at all. I brought several pictures of dresses that there store claimed to carry and they didn't have 1 from the 5 pictures i brought with me! The dresses they did have there for the most part seemed really worn out, and it was super cramped. My mom and MOH were with me and they had to keep moving to get out of the way of the associates who were trying to pull dresses from the mirrored closets behind them. I also feel like the woman who was helping me was pretty rude. She totally disregarded my budget...and she seemed to get annoyed every time she pulled a dress and I said it wasn't my taste. Finally when i was trying on the few dresses i did sorta like she would interrupt my mom and MOH every time they voiced an opinion on a dress. Then when I finally narrowed it down to two dresses that i sort of liked she kept pushing me to get the dress right then and there. I also didn't like that she seemed annoyed when helping me in and out of dresses. I think the woman's name was Debbie...if you look there I would not recommend having her help you.

This! They were so nice & I found a few dresses & narrowed it down. Going to wait for the new stuff just to be sure before ordering.

I got my dress at NY Bridal Outlet in Farmingdale. It's actually the sister store to Village Bridal in Babylon. They were so awesome and I had a wonderful experience.
