wedding dresses at reasonable prices (under $1000)

Where are good places to buy a wedding dress under $1000? (hopefully around $600, but definitely under $1000)

i have been to davids bridal and a few other smaller shops. Just curious to where other women who are on a tight budget went.

I live in western suffolk county, but im up to traveling into nassau, queens, or the city for a good deal.

whatever dress you may find, call Burtons in Melville - they discount all dresses by at least 20-30%.

i got my Maggie dress for $600, at a store in FL

bought my dress at lilletes in baldwin for 840ish... with alternations it should still be under 1,000. they ask you when u walk in what your budget is. Its in Nassau, but might be worth the trip. goodluck!

I went all over! The best priced dresses were at elegant bridal. I went and found my dress at Centereach bridal suite and then bought it at elegant bridal bc it was 300 dollars cheaper!

I went to Helen's in wedding world and got a Maggie Sottero...this was the first place I went.

I fell in love with a gown but still wanted to see the first gown I fell in love with. We went to two other stores which the service ******.

In any case, we went back to Helen's. They matched the price I was quoted at another store....in all, my dress was $990 which I thought was great.

I would recommend looking at Wedding Center in Commack, but not buying from there. I haven't seen my great reviews on here about alterations with them.

I went to Paradise Bridals in Patchougue. They have reasonably priced dresses and their alterations are capped at $225 so it should be easier to calculate what everything would come out to.

Also i second RK bridal. Large selection of dresses and are alot cheaper than a lot of other places.

The wedding Center in Commack. They have dresses @ inexpensive prices. I just would get my alteration done elsewhere.

I went to artemida wedding gallery, she is a small shop in brooklyn on sheepshead bay road, she has alot of expensive dresses but also has dresses for in your budget, she does your alterations there at no charge, I paid $650 for a sophia tolli dress, I love her and she is great to work with, my girfriend who is also getting married went there to get a vail, now not only is she getting a vail but her dress she got from davids bridal this lady is taking it apart and adding all details to it, she is reallt awsome.

Do you fit into sample sizes?? I found that at Nieman Marcus outlet they have couture dresses that are amazing for $700. They have them in the New Jersey Garden location and maybe the one in Deer Park.

I would try Burtons for sure as a location, but dresseds done by designer Alfred Angelo in general are less than $1000 to start

Estelle's has a bridal dept and a lot of the dresses are around $700

RK Bridal (walking distance from Penn Station) - gorgeous dresses for under $1000...I got my Casablanca there and it was around $750...

Just saw your other post...you can try them on at RK Bridal - you go there (make sure to bring pics of dresses you like)- they carry lots of brands - I found Casablancas to be beautiful and reasonable so I went in with several pics of theirs as well as some Maggie Sotteros. You sign your name up on a wall and then when it is your turn, you try on your dresses and an attendant helps you and offers some suggestions of others that might look good on you. Best time to go is when they open or on a weekday.
