Wedding dresses HELP!

Hello ladies!

It's that time where I need to start shopping for my wedding gown. I am looking for great experiences with not only the dress you purchased, but the alterations etc.! I was supposed to go on Say Yes to the Dress on Saturday but decided to cancel because it will be too much stress for me, considering this will be the first time I am going to try on dresses! THANKS! :D

I haven't gone dress shopping yet but when my sister was getting married, she had a great experience at Kleinfield : )

I bought my dresses from Monica's bridal in Brooklyn and the staff was amazing. They were very patient with me and never rushed me once the 2 hours I was there. They had a huge selection of gowns for every budget.

I think picking a place really depends on your budget. I had an amazing experience at NY bridal outlet in Farmingdale, and their sister store village bridal is doing my alterations and they too have been great. Also, Lotus in Brooklyn is supposed to be great too.

Village bridal in Babylon and Bridal Suite of Bay Shore...I had great shopping experiences at both and would have felt comfortable buying a dress from either. I ended up buying my dress from Bay Shore but I didn't get as far as alterations yet.
