Long story short my downstairs neighbor was supposed to do the alterations for my dress. She comes upstairs tonight ( 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!) and tells my mother she can't do it!!!!!!

UPDATE: RK Bridal was not able to fit me in on such short notice, but they did give me the name of a woman who used to work for them and she is seeing me tomorrow!
are you willing to travel to someone's home in brooklyn? she is awesome and works for Kleinfelds full time but takes on additional work out of her home
what about a dry cleaners? they usually do great work in quick timing... i got a BM dress altered at my cleaners and it took about 1 1 /2 weeks...
i went to a dry cleaner for my first dress and i wasn't happy with the way they were fitting me. you have to be careful w/ them b/c they might not specialize with wedding gowns.
i took my dress to My Daughter's Wedding in Great Neck and so far they have been amazing. I would give them a call to see if they can squeeze you in
Call RK. While they do tell you to book alterations early because slots fill up, they have otherwise been extremely accommodating to me so far in other ways....give them a call!
if that doesn't work out, here's the contact info for the tailor i use. i never used her for a bridal gown, but i did use her for my prom and sweet 16 gowns.
