The place we're looking at offers a Mojito for $8 per person. i love mojitos but is that a total waste? I bet all in all only like 10 people will order one anyway!!

Well...I am a huge fan of mojitos!!
However...if you already are having an open bar...can't they make mojitos upon request?

Right...I mean its not that hard..I had mojitos at a wedding NY, and no mojito bar.
I mean....I guess if they are making a cutesy pootsey display or something with your names and the mojitos...that could be cute.....
But if you already have open bar...that defeats the purpose. If you pay for open bar they should have the capability of any wine beer, liqour, frozen, or mixed drink.....JMO

i wouldnt pay an extra $8 just for some damn mint. either they make it per order, or everyone just goes mojito-less

Perhaps you could ask if they'll let you bring your own mint? Maybe they won't charge you if you bring the ingredients.

I agree with you.... I wouldn't pay that much money per person, especially if you are having an open bar...
BELIEVE ME your guests will be quite happy with the open bar, and I wouldn't think twice about that...
