Wedding Fan Programs

Are any of the summer brides doing wedding fan programs and if so are you DIY or getting it done professionally?

I am going to DIY them! They are too expensive to have made! I am making paddle type ones! I can't wait!

I am DIY! I bought cardstock on sale at Michaels and I'm printing 4 panel frames out using a printer. I also bought eyelets and an eyelet setter to make the panels fan out. I already made one and I love how it came out :) But FYI- this way is very time consuming.

Yup I plan on doing them, I have the template and the paper but still have to get the eyelets and the setter. I plan on finalizing the program sometime in Feb or March so that I can get going with them b/c I know their going to be very tedius.

I really want to do this ever since i heard someone did this a while ago. but i 1. have no time, 2. would get frustrated, 3. would have no help, etc etc.

I have not heard of any companies that do this for you? But if not i will probably just buy fans and maybe forgo the whole 'traditional program' thing and just give out plain fans.

I found this place online. The prices seemed reasonable. I don't have time or help for diy. When I looked at packages it felt like between the paper and other supplies I would need it would be just as much money.

I planned on using fans as the program for my ceremony especially since it is in the garden at Crest Hollow. I have not decided if I will have made with the save the date and invites or do my own.
