wedding favors

Hello everyone,

I am getting married in September and need help? I don't know what to do about favors for my guests. Anyone have any ideas? I can't stop thinking about this and don't know what to do about it. Thank you so much for all your help, I really appreciate it.

I did personalised M&M's in my colors and they were a HUGE hit....so many guests told me that they started eating them and then realised that our names and wedding date were on them and they were so surprised.

Some people actually said they kept them and will eat them in our honor on our first anniversary!!

i bought 8' champagne flutes w/ our names and date engraved on it. i am filling them w/ hershey's hugs and kisses and attaching a note saying 'hugs and kisses from the mr and mrs.'

How do you personalize M&Ms?????

Mom mom would LOVE this!!! She swears a 2lb bag of M&Ms brought on her labor with my older brother!

I am doing truffles in boxes....from truffletrolley.com. They are awesome, so pretty and came to about 1.10 per box!

we did sugar cookies from sherribabee.com

They were a HUGE hit! People were asking us if we had any leftovers

Same here. We're also doing a favor on the table per person, which will probably be something edible and wine-related like Chocolate Hazlenut Merlot cookies (I still need to try baking a batch first!)

I haven't spoken to my florist yet, but I was also considering breakaway cps - and giving engraved bud vases as favors.

I am assuming the breakaway cps you mean centerpieces. Where I am getting married that is included. Everyone walks away with a bouquet of flowers and we are having a bakery to go. As the guests are leaving they get to make themselves a goddy bag of assorted treats. I just thought that i should give a favor as well, it's just hard to think of something that people will like and want to take home, not just leave behind on the table.

The place where I am getting married does the breakaway centerpieces for all the guests. As they leave they all get a bouquet of flowers and we are having a bakery to go. The guests get to go home with a goody bag of assorted treats that they pick out. I just thought that I should do something else. i feel obligated to give something else as a favor, it's just hard coming up with something that people will like and want to bring home, not just leave on the table. I like your idea about the engraved vases, that would go well with the flowers. Thanks for the help. any more ideas, please feel free, thanks again.
