wedding favors

My sister recently went to a wedding and the favor was a picture of her and her husband in a snowglobe. The bride hired someone to take a picture of the guests as they arrive, and then another person was hired to place the picture in a snowglobe. I like the idea, but am not crazy about the snowglobe. Does anyone know where I can find more information on this or have another idea other than a snowglobe? I like the idea of a picture of the guests.

Thanks!

Re: wedding favors

Celestial Photos can take pictures of your guests as they arrive for your cocktail hour. The pictures will be on Kodak paper and will be ready after dinner. I believe it is a 5x7 photo and they will place it in a photo folder with the saying of your choice printed on it.

I don't know anything about Celestial, so I was a little hesitant to try them. Last summer, I was quoted $12.95 a piece (for approximately 60 photos).

I love the idea of my guests getting a photo of themselves, I thought this price was a bit high though.

Re: wedding favors

My brother's MIL did something like this for their wedding about 4 years ago. They took pictures of the guest, punched them out, and made them into circular plastic magnets. It was such a great idea, and I still have mine on the fridge. Although this was in New Jersey, it's an idea for you....good luck!
