Wedding Favors
So, I wanted to share some information about a GREAT wedding favor idea! That FH and I have decided to do since most wedding favors end up in people's trash after a few weeks, people leave them on the tables, or someone breaks a tooth by trying to eat a silver almond... LOL
At the last bridal show I went to I talked to a rep from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, It's for children with all types of cancer... They make personalized scrolls and bookmarks in lieu of wedding favors that say:
To Family and Friends
With much thought and consideration we chose a special way to say thank you for sharing our day,as we celebrate the beginning of our new life together. In lieu of a traditional wedding favor, we have made a donation in your honor to St. Jude Children's Research hospital. We truly appreciate you being a part of our day.
and it has your names and date on it
You give them whatever donation you want and tell them how many to make you... We plan on sending a dollar per guest because that's what I was gonna try for anyway had I gotten a ceramic swan or something...
and IMO it's a great way to give a little bit back and not make everything about me![]()
and they can look even more pretty by adding ribbon or whatnot...
Just thought I'd share for those torn about the whole wedding favor thing...
