Wedding favors

Wedding favors

I know we've all been to weddings therefore we've all left with some sort of favor or keepsake.

So my question is this...What was the favor and did you keep it and make good use out of it or did you throw it away?

I want to give something practical so I am trying to figure out what people actually use.

The only favor I've ever kept and enjoyed was a bottle of wine. Some of the 10ers favors on here seem FABULOUS though (esp. love Laura's cheeseboard!).

lately i have gotten a bunch of wine stoppers or min candles and i just throw those away if they even make it out of the wedding bc i already have tons of them.

i love edible favors...

i also got little measuring spoons...i think it might have been at a bridal shower but i actually use those

i kept the wine stoppers from my sisters wedding... and I kept a snow globe from FH's cousin.. you were able to put any picture you wanted in it...

Maybe im partial...but I got salt and pepper shakers as my favors...They are holiday themed and if I got them as a gift I would like them...

I received an ice cream scoop from a bridal shower and a music cd from the wedding. Both good favors!!

I only like edible favors. Anything else I get I always already have a ton of and it tends to see the inside of my garbage pail... Sorry, JMO!

Um I've gotten wine glasses and shot glasses that i've kept. We got flower seeds once and those went in the trash. I can't think of any others...

The favors I've loved the most were donation ones (maybe that's weird, but I liked that the money was going toward a cause) and anything edible.

The only trinkets I've ever made use of were wine stoppers and chic luggage tags.

we have received wine bottle stoppers - they don't fit in our fridge & in our wine fridge u have to lay the bottles on the side.

we received wine glass charms - we don't like the idea of having something hanging on the bottom of the glass

we received candles - tossed in the trash, they where floral scented & since FH & i suffer from headaches some scents trigger headaches

we received coasters - very useful, we use them all the time.

we received a 'European Favor', its a ceramic dish with a metal stand - very useful, FH keeps his keys, wallet, change, checkbook, ID cards, etc in it.

we are giving salt & pepper shakers. i think they are useful

i always like edible or drinkable favors cuz you get good use of them. I also like kitchen favors like whisks or measuring spoons. As for as candles and other stuff like that I usually throw them away after a litle while because they become clutter in my tiny apartment

i love getting wine stoppers - that is what we are doing?

but i have received the following and used them:
glass ice bucket - i used this all the time, love it!
candle snuffer - FH realy loves this one
ice cream scoop
