Wedding Favors

Hi Everybody, I need some help on this.

My FMIL has a wine glass that she got as a wedding favor and on the wine glass there are handpainted grapes and the couple had put a candle in the wine glass and given it as a favor. I thought this would be a perfect idea for me if I could find a place that made them with leaves on them b/c my wedding is in November '04.

Any body have any feedback

Already asked FMIL where they might have gotten them but she has no idea.

Did you try doing a search on the internet for hand painted wine glasses? That might be worth a try.

i remember my mom grabbing the business card of a lady who hand paints glasswear. i'll see if she still has it and get back to you soon...

Definitly do a search. I just did one on google and a lot of places popped up. There was one that popped up and showed how to do them yourself. It doesn't look too hard if you want to try and save some money!!

I found these at Bed, Bath and Beyond. $14.99 for a set of 4.

Under Wedding Services, there is a vendor under favors called Carol Ann Creations which looks like something you would be looking for....

Sounds great! Try discount stores or Michaels for the glasses and candles.

that is such a nice idea. there are a lot of little stores that will carry them. try the ones that have crafts. i know of a small store in greenport (out east) that carries them. im not sure of the name. i do know that it is 3 stores down for claudios. also the department stores like macys carry things like that also, the come in sets of 4. so you could always split the sets up. i belive elements makes them.
