Wedding favors - ideas & avg price?

Wedding favors - ideas & avg price?

What are you doing for favors? What is the average price you think per favor? Are you doing one per person or one per couple?

We were thinking of doing either salt & pepper shakers or personalized wine bottles. But we aren't enamored by either, so we are looking for ideas.

I am paying $5.25 (that is for the favor and to have it wrapped in paper with ribbon and jordan almonds) for these. I am doing one per couple.

I'm making our favors. They're mini terra cotta pots that I filled with wildflower seed. Then I wrapped them in two shades of green tulle, tied them with raffia, and hot glued sunflowers onto the ribbon. Next, I'll attach a little card w/ our name and date and instructions for the seed.

I made 70 and the cost of supplies was less than $60! And I've got a ton of stuff left over if I want to make more!

We're doing heart shaped bottle stoppers. We're getting them for $1.79 each on wrapwithus.com

We're donating to charity but we still bought the ribbon with our names on it and the wedding date because we're appling it to a card that says what we're doing. Just another idea if nothing is hitting you.
