Wedding filled weekend!!
Okay, this weekend FH and I went to two weddings. Friday night we attended his cousins wedding in Wantagh. And Saturday night we attended my cousins wedding in Delaware.
Both weddings were absolutely fantastic. But, by being an outsider I was able to notice some things and just thought I would pass on some advice.
At FH's cousins wedding the Deacon mixed up the grooms parents names with the brides parents names during the ceremony. I know this is an innocent mistake and you probably cant do much to prevent it, but I will definitely be drilling my officiant now!
Both weddings the poor brides bustle broke and wound up being saftey pinned. I'm defintely talking to my seamstress now!!
A reprocussion of FH's cousins bride's bustle breaking during dancing?...she fell on the floor and dragged FH's mom on the floor with her!![]()

At my cousins wedding they cut the cake and then didnt serve it for 2 hours!! Im not sure what happened there?
My cousin also opted for the chocolate fountain which was absolutely delicious! However, they didn't have an attendent so it got a little messy!
One other thing. At my cousins wedding instead of petals the flower girl threw little hearts I guess made out of tissue paper or something, thought that was unique and such a cute idea!
Other than those minor errors I'd say everything went smoothly. Thanks for listening![]()
