wedding gift - 3 months later (kinda long)

I went home during my lunch break and saw that post office tried to deliver a package but no one was home. The only information on the little card was that it was from poland and that it was a parcel. so i think hmmm who could this be??? thinking and hoping that its from DH sister who didnt even bother calling, or sending out a wedding card with wishes for our wedding.
Which I know broke my DH heart on our wedding day. shes a little mixed up in her head, thinks she's queen and that everyone will kiss the ground that she walks on, whats weird is that DH and her didnt even get into a fight, she and their mom did and return, his sister didnt talk to DH either. makes no sense but whatever.


So i go to the post office and when i saw that it was from his sister, it really really made me so happy that she finally grew up and got over whatever it is she had a problem with and decided to acknowledge our wedding & our life together. (mind you I never met her)
So we opened it together and its some expensive comforter set from France, along with these beauttiful wedding books with sayings and a book/album to make a scrapbook from our wedding day.

I just wanted to share with you ladies because it just made me happy, bc i know DH deep down is happy as well - even though he wasnt jumping for joy when he got the package.
In my book, its better late then never, if shes trying to make amends and make the situation better - we are all for it

Awwww!!! Better late than never would be stance, too! I am sure your DH is so happy, even if he isn't showing it right now. Great news, Gabbie!

aww I'm glad that you and FH are happy.. you only get 1 family and it hurts when they aren't always there for you!
