wedding gift help

Ladies,

Sorry to crash your board, I know my FW doesn’t frequent this board much (as she’s a ’07 Bride) and I’d like your help.

What would you like your FH to get you as a wedding gift?

i'm sorry, i have absolutely NO idea what people give each other for those gifts...is it supposed to be something expensive? something small? do you give it to each other the day of the wedding?

i think something really meaningful...like does she collect anything? is there a place or something that makes her think of you? maybe something symbolizing somewhere you've been together or something you both really share a love for?

ETA: Personally, I would like something sentimental... even flowers with a really nice note. But you can never go wrong with jewlery... something she can wear the day of, even if she already has her jewlery... a nice pair of diamond studs.... prettttty!

iwould love something sweet and meaningful. <-- yeah that helps LOTS right!?

i would not want expensive jewerly, i would Love more a purse i have been eyeing, or tickets to a boradway show.

if jewerly is her thing... you can buy her an anklet, bracelet, earings.... something thats classy but not a TON of $$...

I'd definitely love to get a note delivered from him to me on the morning of the wedding telling me not to be nervous and that he loves me very much. I wouldn't expect a long note because he needs to save all his good ideas for our vows...lol.

If you wanna go with I gift, I'd also like to get pearls to wear on my wedding day. I've always wanted to wear pearls.

I would definetely want something along the lines of jewelry - earrings or a nice bracelet, something i could wear right then and there walking down the aisle and keep with me as a sentimental gift.

What about a necklace she can wear the day of the wedding. fortunoff has some beautiful diamond necklaces. I'm sure whatever you get her she will love and treasure. Good luck.

I remember when I was in my aunts wedding my uncle sent over 6 dozen roses of varying colors to her mom's (my grandmothers) house where she was getting ready.....I remember how much she loved it because everytime she turned around there were roses....the pictures were amazing.
