What monetary amount would you give as a wedding gift for a business associate who is having an informal reception (VERY small) at a restaurant?

I would also give same amount as regular wedding, this is the type of wedding 2 of my brothers had, and most people were very generous

It really depends on what you can afford.
Also-you're not close with him/her and you are invited to their very small informal restaurant wedding? Does he/she think you are close?

me too , why is her wedding less valid b/c it's at a restaurant, or were you going by the standard that you double your plate for the gift?
