We are starting to get wedding gifts in the mail. But I havn't sent thank yous for them yet. I know I should be sending them out right away, but Im waiting because I want to find a thank you card that I like and havn't yet. Do you think people will think its weird they havn't gotten one yet???

I think etiquitte-wise you have up to 1 year to send out Thank You's.

Re: wedding gifts
I would probably send them out collectively after your wedding.

Re: wedding gifts
Not at all! Just start a list in order to keep track, and do all the thank yous after the wedding. It won't be a problem. I don't ever expect a thank you before 3 months after the wedding! And especially if I give a gift prior to the wedding, because I can't attend or something - people know you have a million things to do for the wedding. Don't worry!

ya I started an excel spreadsheet to keep track. I was thinking of doing them all after. But a couple of the gifts came from people not comming to the wedding, so I may send those out earlier...

that's what we did. we thought it would be nicer to send out our wedding thank you's to everyone, rather than an initial one, then another one.

If you haven't, I would call them to thank them acknowledging you got the gift. I know most people send out thank yous even for these gifts after the wedding.
