Wedding Gifts

Hi all...I am new to this site, want to say hello.

I have a question...are you and your fiance getting weddings gifts for eachother?

I just wanted to hear some ideas from those who have, those who will and those who didnt and why...

Hi! Congrats and welcome!
FH and I arent getting wedding gifts for each other because we are paying for our wedding our selves and that is probably the most expensive gift we will ever recieve from one another.

Hi welcome and congrats!!! As far as gifts FH and I are paying for it ourselves so our rings and HM are our the gifts to eachother.

I'm def. getting him a grooms cake, personalized boxers for day of, his football team cufflinks for day of and my buget depends on whether or not he gets season tickets to the Nets or a nice watch

we might be getting each other something small.. but our main gift is gonna be the wedding cuz we're paying for it by ourselves.

IF, and that's a big IF, we have the money, I'm going to pack his HM suitcase with stuff I buy. For a guy, that's a great gift if he hates to shop/pack, and my FH is not a fan of either one. Plus, unlike my HM wardrobe, his won't cost much except for the suit, which will double as the rehearsal dinner outfit!!!

I bought him an engagement gift. He wanted a Rolex and couldn't wait until the wedding. So after I got my ring, I bought it for him. Probably no gifts for the wedding, we're paying for the band, rings and HM. Thats enough.

I was, but only if I can afford it after we pay for everything else. If there is money leftover, I will buy him a Mac laptop

I am taking boudoir pics and something sports - probably jet season tix - I've been saving since we started dating practically. He is paying for a huge chunk of the wedding so I think he deserves a big thank you

Welcome and congrats on the engagement . We are getting eachohter gifts. I want to get him a movado watch (Iam saving now) and I want him to buy me chandeler earrings for the day of the wedding. I at first was agaist especially since we are spending so much already but It is kind of like a tradition with weddings and want to do it now. It is a nice keepsake from eachother on that special day besides your rings.
